composer – Graham Reynolds
Graham Reynolds (of the Golden Arm Trio) is a composer, bandleader, pianist and drummer based in Austin, Texas who works constantly in film, theater, dance, concert halls, and nightclubs. His compositions include five symphonies, two operas, a violin concerto, more than a dozen one movement string quartets, countless chamber music pieces, and the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack to Richard Linklater´s “Scanner Darkly”.
For example he has composed scores for silent films such as “Hunchback of Notre Dame,” “Faust,” “The Lost World,” “Flesh and the Devil”, a series of Alexander Dovzhenko films, and several others. Reynolds has scored the music to independent films Steve Collins´ “Gretchen” (2006), Justin Henard´s “Moonlight by the Sea” (2003), Richard Linklater´s “Live from Shiva´s Dance Floor” (2003), James Crowley´s “Journeyman” and many others.
